Safety

JDG Civil Management is firmly committed to a policy enabling all work activities to be carried out safely and apply the ALARP principle (as low as reasonably practicable) to remove or reduce any or all hazards far as reasonably practicable to the health, safety and welfare or workers, contractors, authorised visitors and anyone else who may be affected by our operations.

We are committed to ensuring we comply with the Work Health Safety Act of 2011(NSW), the Work Healthy Safety Regulation 2017(NSW) and applicable NSW Codes of Practice, The Electricity Supply (Safety and Network Management) Regulation 2014 and AS/NZS 4801:2001 Occupational Health & Safety Management Systems as far as reasonably practicable.  We manage our HSEQ System with “Donesafe” Compliance & Safety Software and have designed a tailored online induction and training records management software system.

JDG Civil Management is committed to following the disciplines of ISO 9001:2015 to develop and maintain the processes needed to produce a level of construction and project management at a consistent quality and standard.  By fostering good relationships with internal and external stakeholders we maintain open and effective lines of communication, encouraging feedback thus maintaining our high standards.

Every member of staff has the responsibility to ensure that the intentions of this quality statement are understood, applied and maintained within their own area.

Performance Audit Commitment

JDG Civil Management is committed to annually auditing our Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality (HSEQ) Management System to verify that JDG Civil performance management policies, company objectives and targets are being met between the external certification audits.

The review personnel will analyse evidence available in our HSEQ system as well as investigating any omission and take remedial measures.  They will also determine the adequacy of resources and discuss the results from audits, investigations and note any changed conditions that are impacting on the workplace.

JDG Civil acknowledges a responsibility to the environment and we express our commitment towards implementing practices which will promote environmental sustainability.  Our company will specifically focus on the conservation of resources and the reduction of waste.

Operations within our company will be continually reviewed and improved so that we will truly be able to integrate environmental and social considerations into our everyday practices.  JDG Civil will consistently strive to raise awareness in the community by encouraging participation and training employees in environmental matters.

  • NSW Department of Trade Investment “Level 1 Service Provider for Class Overhead and Underground, Grade A”
  • Endeavour Transmission accredited contractor to 132kV (Under Level 1 Service Provider and ISO Accredited)
  • Currently going through the process to obtain Sydney Water Accreditation
